Study<br \/>\n        after study &#8212; not to mention personal experience &#8212; shows that&#8217;s true.<br \/>\n        But a report released last week found that some obesity studies may actually<br \/>\n        understate the crisis &#8212; because of people fudging their true weight<br \/>\n        and height. Researchers from the Harvard School of Public Health came<br \/>\n        to their conclusion by examining two national surveys of girth.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The Harvard researchers combined data from the state-by-state<br \/>\n        phone surveys and found that among men, 22 percent reported that they<br \/>\n        were obese. For women, it was 21 percent.
