\n wire one after another. We can’t help but feel they are connected,
\n if not in fact then in at lease in that they demonstrate the awesome
\n power of 14-year-old girls, many of whom, we are told, have blogs.<\/em><\/p>\nLove at first sight<\/p>\n <\/strong>A South African businessman is refusing to leave Croatia until he finds
\n a girl who he spotted across a crowded bar.<\/p>\n Keith Van Der Spuy has never even spoken to the girl but says she was the
\n most beautiful woman he has ever seen. He has cancelled his flight home
\n and taken out adverts in local newspapers in the port town of Split. <\/p>\n Mr
\n Van Der Spuy says he lost sight of the pretty young woman shortly after
\n she smiled at him across the bar. But he’s convinced she was a local because
\n he heard her calling to a female friend shortly before he lost sight of
\n her.<\/p>\n Van Der Spuy, who is also the head of the South African water-polo association,
\n said he could not get her out of his mind and when he got to the airport
\n realised he could not board the plane. He has already extended his holiday
\n for four months, and says he is prepared to stay in Split for as long as
\n it takes.<\/p>\n He told Croatian daily Slobodna Dalmacija: "I will not leave this
\n place for years if I have to. When I saw her and she looked at me I knew
\n she was the one. There was pure chemistry between us.<\/p>\n " I can’t get her out of my head. I just want to meet her and see her long
\n dark hair and beautiful smile again. She is the most beautiful woman I
\n have ever seen.
\n" If she is married or is not interested I can accept it – but I have to
\n know – I have to see her one more time, and I have even bought a diamond
\n ring for her."<\/p>\n Girl, 14, destroys cash machine<\/strong><\/p>\n An angry 14-year-old schoolgirl destroyed a cash machine with her bare
\n hands in Ukraine.
\n Police were called out to investigate reports of a thug vandalising the
\n ATM machine in Yalta.
\n Officers said the girl, who "looked as if she couldn’t hurt a fly",
\n started punching the machine in a fury after it swallowed her bank card.<\/p>\n The girl, not named, told local media: "I just got angry and couldn’t
\n control myself after the machine took my card. I train regularly at a local
\n boxing club to keep fit – I guess I must have learned a few things."<\/p>\n Bosses at Privatbank who own the machine are demanding $4,500 in damages
