The program dovetails with the state<br \/>\n        of Maine&#8217;s own <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasbe.org\/Educational_Issues\/SII\/8_6.html\">Learning<br \/>\n        Technology Initiative<\/a>, where all students and<br \/>\n        teachers in seventh and eighth grades in Maine public schools also have<br \/>\n        iBooks.<\/p>\n<p>      The requirement kicks in for first-year teaching students with the Fall<br \/>\n      2005 semester.
