Casualties in Iraq continue to rise in a daily slow bleed sparking
\n twisted flashbacks of Vietnam three decades ago.<\/p>\n
\nFive American solders were killed around dawn when two rockets fired
\n from a truck hit the U.S. base at Taji, 12 miles north of Baghdad,
\n Air Force Lt. Col. Sam Hudspath said. U.S. helicopter gunships then
\n destroyed the truck, the military said.
\n Six soldiers were wounded in the attack, three of them critically,
\n the military said.
\n The deaths, along with the combat death of a Marine announced Saturday,
\n brought to 107 the number of U.S. troops killed in Iraq since the beginning
\n of April. Since the U.S.-led invasion last year, 715 American military
\n personnel have died in Iraq.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\nMeanwhile, the Pentagon refuses to allow publication
\n of phographs of caskets containing bodies of dead American soldiers being
\n brought home via Dover Airforce Base. In an almost unbelievable development
\n the US government has actually gone so far as to block access to an internet
\n site<\/a> (thememoryhole.org) which published 350 photos from Dover
