An 81-year-old pensioner from Santiago has escaped serious
\n injury after managing to park his car on two levels of a multi-storey
\n car park at the same time.<\/p>\n
The man, who doesn’t want to be named, told Chile’s Las Ultimas Noticias
\n paper that the accident happened after he became confused about which
\n gear he was in.<\/p>\n
Apparently he slammed his car into first gear instead of reverse, causing
\n it to crash over a barrier and down onto the parking level below.<\/p>\n
The pensioner escaped largely unhurt with only a small cut to his hand.<\/p>\n
However police had to call for reinforcements after a large crowd of
\n people turned up to see the car’s precarious position for themselves.<\/p>\n
