The lavatory-navigation<br \/>\n      light, which retails for $30, is a sensor-studded light that customers<br \/>\n      install at the bottom of a toilet seat. The light detects approaching footsteps,<br \/>\n      then casts a red shadow on the toilet if the seat is up &#8212; a gentle reminder<br \/>\n      to women that everything is not as it should be.
