Army rebels have seized a prestigious shopping and
\n hotel complex in the Philippines capital, ringing it with what appear
\n to be explosives. They are protesting corruption within the government
\n of President Gloria Arroyo, and claim that several recent terrorist attacks
\n in the Phillipines were staged by the government to extort military aid from
\n the US.<\/p>\n
