I love, love, love every single thing about it.  The counters, the appliances, the countertops, the floor.  So why, oh why, am I having such a hard time with wallplates???  <em>This should not be this difficult.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Originally, we just had the plain cheap-o plastic wallplates while we looked for something we really liked:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/DSC01316.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/DSC01316-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-796\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/DSC01316-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/DSC01316-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then I ordered these:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/58bee087-e7f5-4d44-a09c-14015574ef4d_300.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/58bee087-e7f5-4d44-a09c-14015574ef4d_300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-797\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/58bee087-e7f5-4d44-a09c-14015574ef4d_300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.blogs.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/58bee087-e7f5-4d44-a09c-14015574ef4d_300-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, I only ordered the three that we needed for the backsplash cause hubby says they&#8217;re too dark and he doesn&#8217;t like them. (I don&#8217;t completely disagree but I think they would&#8217;ve grown on me.)<\/p>\n<p>So, then I found these:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/wallplates_2167_49719732.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/curtincall\/files\/2011\/07\/wallplates_2167_49719732.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"95\" height=\"95\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-798\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This time, I only order <em>one<\/em> (this is getting expensive!) and we&#8217;ve decided we like them.  Of course, now that we&#8217;ve selected something, I want them <em>yesterday!<\/em>  What???  I&#8217;m having a cookout next weekend!  <\/p>\n<p>Oh, and did I mention that I can&#8217;t wait to be able to say &#8220;Yes!
