I am mindful that we&#x2019;re all sinners.&#x201D; Good one Mr. Moral Crusader. You know, there are some religions that don&#x2019;t consider homosexuality and gay marriage a sin. And now republicans are trying to prevent same sex marriages with an amendment to the constitution. Or, excuse me, to &#x201C;legally to protect the sanctity of marriage.&#x201D; Uh, one, there already is a law preventing federal recognition of gay marriage, and second, doesn&#x2019;t this go against the First Amendment? Currently gays can get married, but they are not eligible for federal benefits.
