I love vintage coats, but because of my freakishly long arms, the sleeves are always a couple inches too short, bearing my delicate wrists to the cold air. My solution? Arm warmers. I knit myself a pair last fall:<\/FONT><\/P>

A few days ago I see <\/FONT>this<\/FONT><\/A> in the New York Times style section. Oh, I am so ahead of the times. In the past, girls had to make their own, or cut holes in socks. Now there are so many materials and styles to choose from: wool, cotton, leather, cashmere, vinyl. Is it wrong to think of myself as a fashion trendsetter? <\/FONT><\/P>

Some designers try to get around the “arm warmer” moniker. <\/FONT>Marc Jacobs version<\/FONT><\/A>. Don’t give me this “fingerless glove” crap, those are arm warmers.<\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P>
\n
