I’m leaving today for two weeks of vacation. Since the only person who checks this site daily is coming with me, I doubt many will miss me. But here’s a name post just in case:<\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P>

Now, I don’t understand why anyone chooses (or bestows on their child) Dick over any other shortening of Richard, but it should be avoided at all costs when you have a vaguely sexual sounding last name. Dick Pound is right up there with Laconia, NH (my hometown) favorite son and congressman, wait for it, Dick Swett.<\/SPAN><\/P>

And now all the Dicks are blocked by porn filtering software in schools and public libraries. Sorry kids, you can forget about researching that project on esteemed former house majority leader, Dick Armey.
