This is from our syllabus, so it doesn&#8217;t include travel or field trips that I take on my own, so there will be more visits than this!<\/p>\n<p>June 25: Arrive in Barcelona<\/p>\n<p>June 28: Tour of the gothic quarter of Barcelona<\/p>\n<p>June 30: Day trip to Girona<\/p>\n<p>July 1: Day trip to Montjuic (the old castle, 1911 yarn factory, buildings of the Universal Exhibition of 1929, and the Olympic Ring)<\/p>\n<p>July 6 &#8211; 9: Weekend trip to Madrid (monuments, Prado Museum, Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Huertas, Botin, Barrio de Salamanca, the Rastro)<\/p>\n<p>July 14: Daytime walk through modernist Barcelona (Park Guel, Palau de la Musica, Hospital de Sant Pau, Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, Casa Mila, Casa Amatller, and more)<\/p>\n<p>July 15: Day trip to Sitges and beach<\/p>\n<p>July 20 &#8211; 23: Weekend trip to Madrid (more monuments and museums)<\/p>\n<p>July 28: Trip to Fundacion Tapies<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here is a short itinerary about where I&#8217;ll be and when I&#8217;ll be there.
