The batteries in my PalmPilot died during Garrett&#8217;s talk.\n<li>Christina:\n<ul>\n<li>personal km vs. Km  personal v. Multiple people\n<li>why blog?\n<li>Blogs mean different things to diffeerent people\n<li>someone&#8217;s voice vs. Corporate voice\n<li>information ecology\n<li>how people keep found things found is key&#8211;blogs are good for that\n<li>search, retrieval is important&#8211;metadata  archiving\n<li>existing technology\n<li>blogging is about the person, not the technology\n<\/ul>\n<li>j talked about feeds and knowledge management\n<ul>\n<li>I couldn&#8217;t take notes about my own presentation while I was giving it. Maybe I&#8217;ll fill this in a little later<\/ul>\n<li>Garrett:\n<ul>\n<li>we&#8217;re always looking for new sources of knowledge\n<li>started in Blogger, moved to get feed &amp; group support\n<li>it&#8217;s easy to blog\n<li>Garrett highly recommends that any blogger use an aggregator\n<li>the batteries in my PalmPilot died\n<li>Garrett&#8217;s talk is very similar to <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jkbaumga\/stories\/storyReader$2047\">one he gave on Saturday<\/a>. His <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/rihlib\/2004\/11\/05#a287\">PowerPoint slides<\/a> from that talk\n<\/ul>\n<li>Because the panel will happen in twelve days, the slides are not publicly available yet.
