How&#8217;s that?\n<ul>\n<li>Yes.<\/ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/marc.blogs.it\/\">Marc Canter<\/a> and microcontent\n<ul>\n<li>GR: he would be happy to address us, he founded Micromedia\n<li>GR set it up for Thursday, November 18th\n<ul>\n<li>what we need for that date:\n<ul>\n<li>WK: we have the phone\n<li>WK: Can someone record MP3s?\n<li>LW and MF: yes\n<li>SR: Do we need a mic?<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<li>Shimon, Josh, Garrett, Kris, and j&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.law.harvard.edu\/jkbaumga\/2004\/10\/19#a1860\">blog talk<\/a> on October 30th.\n<ul>\n<li>JA: What interesting uses of blogs can I share with this audience? How can we give them ideas about how to publish within their organization?\n<li>RF: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.airamericaradio.com\/\">Air America Radio<\/a> uses blogs during their shows\n<li>AG: Knowledge base, like for security problems or virus information\n<li>LW: We used Blogger to publish behind a firewall in an environment similar to a law office; we would have found tools like <a href=\"http:\/\/del.icio.us\/\">del.icio.us<\/a> to be very useful, especially if we could invite clients into that; we thought LotusNotes might do that, but it didn&#8217;t work for that\n<li>Erica: closed blogging networks are important, event planning\n<li>LW: Software doesn&#8217;t always serve soft industries, like the service industry, very well; free-form tools like blogs can be valuable because they&#8217;re so adaptable\n<\/ul>\n<li>What about recording meetings as MP3s and posting them later? Does someone have an MP3 recorder we could use for the meetings?<br \/>\n<Li>LW: AG, can you tell us about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston-online.com\/\">Boston Common<\/a>?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>AG: I had a root canal that went bad a few years ago and made a list of all the resources in New England in about two hours.\n<li>uses Drupal and set up a Boston aggregator\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/napps.nwfusion.com\/compendium\/\">Compendium<\/a>, AG&#8217;s corporate blog\n<li>AG: mentioned policies for mistakes and styles in corporate blogs\n<\/ul>\n<li>LW: MS, how did you begin blogging?\n<ul>\n<li>MS: I wrote some things and shared them with friends and they thought I should get into blogging\n<li>I&#8217;ve been blogging for about a year\n<li>I lived in New York at the time and met a bunch of bloggers\n<li>MS: got a job through her blog\n<li>WK: you are the anomaly!\n<li>LW: you got some stuff through you blog, too\n<li>WK: not a job\n<li>LW: just your future husband\n<li>MS: which is better than a blog\n<li>MS: writing about fashion for her job, then stopped blogging because she got tired of doing it\n<li>MF: are you still in the fashion industry?\n<li>MS: no<br \/>\n<Li>LW: Isn&#8217;t this fashion hell, like Elizabeth Spiers thinks it is?<\/p>\n<li>MS: No! I can walk around in my pajamas. It&#8217;s great!\n<li>LW: are you fishing for new interests?<br \/>\n<Li>MS: I thought I was going to transfer domains already, but I have to wait.\n<\/ul>\n<li>LW: Erica: how and why did you start blogging?\n<ul>\n<li>Erica: about 2 1\/2 years ago and I don&#8217;t want to say more right now\n<\/ul>\n<li>j: We can get a calendar with our <a href=\"http:\/\/groups.yahoo.com\/group\/berkman-thursday\/\">Yahoo! Group<\/a>.
