Coming in at 1:49:01 and 2:04:58, respectively, Rachel<br \/>\nand I weren&#8217;t exactly speed demons (we placed 425 and 834 out of 1296),<br \/>\nbut I think I set a PR. While I can&#8217;t find my time in the San Francisco<br \/>\nChronicle Half Marathon (it was screwed up in any event because I had<br \/>\nwaited for my running partner to reach halfway rather than start at the<br \/>\ndesignated time), we hit similar times as in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gmaa.net\/GMHM2003.html\">2003 Green Mountain Half Marathon<\/a> (1:50:07 and 2:01:41) but were much slower than our combined relay times at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plattsys.com\/results\/res2004\/mpmr04.htm\">2004 Mystic Places Marathon<\/a> (3:46:34), which we had split bizarrely and so really doesn&#8217;t count.<\/p>\n<p>Official race photos <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photochambers.us\/v2\/showroll.html?eventID=37&amp;searchtype=2&amp;bibno=1803\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.photochambers.us\/v2\/showroll.html?eventID=37&amp;searchtype=2&amp;bibno=1802\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We then spent a lovely week at Acadia National Park, but more on<br \/>\nthat when photos come in &#8212; that&#8217;s right, we&#8217;re still running on 100%<br \/>\nanalog film.\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A week ago yesterday Rachel and I completed the Sportshoe Center Maine Half Marathon.
