Scott of the New York Times likes it, and ranks it<br \/>\nbetter than the original Star Wars, is heartening. It&#8217;s weird to think<br \/>\nback to when Episode I first came out &#8212; I was finishing up my first<br \/>\nyear in law school and was waiting on line for tickets while studying<br \/>\ncriminal law. This year I&#8217;m not even seeing it on opening night<br \/>\n(fittingly, one of the friends I&#8217;d seen Episode I with back in law<br \/>\nschool will be visiting on Thursday).<\/p>\n<p>Six years ago the Web was still new to me &#8212; it was the Star Wars message boards on <a href=\"http:\/\/boards.theforce.net\/\">TheForce.net<\/a><br \/>\nthat showed me what it was like to belong to a real online community.<br \/>\nThis new world fascinated me, so much so that I wrote my 3L paper on<br \/>\nusing the web to teach, and now I&#8217;m in fact helping to train legal aid<br \/>\nlawyers over the web.\n<\/p>\n<p>So I guess it wouldn&#8217;t be inaccurate to say that George Lucas is indirectly responsible for my current career path!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have to say I&#8217;m allowing myself a little optimism here for Revenge of the Sith&#8230; the fact that A.O.
