<\/a>Volunteers went out this morning to local churches to read a message from Senator Obama. (I’ll try to find a copy if I can). Of the Democratic candidates, Obama has made the clearest, strongest, and most authentic appeal to Christian voters. It’s why I think he’s got the best chance at victory in November.<\/p>\n

Update<\/strong> apropos to that point: an excerpt from Obama this morning at Ebenezer Baptist:<\/p>\n

And we have a deficit when it takes a breach in our levees to reveal a breach in our compassion; when it takes a terrible storm to reveal the hungry that God calls on us to feed; the sick He calls on us to care for; the least of these He commands that we treat as our own.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Meanwhile, all of the offices are preparing for an influx of volunteers from all over, including from the NH and NV campaigns — which is critical, given that the universe of outreach targets has jumped massively in the last few days. The get-out-the-vote campaign will be fierce, and if the last four votes are any indication, we will make history in six days.<\/p>\n

Right now the bulk of folks are down at the Convention Center, where Barack will be rallying supporters and undecideds<\/a> within the hour.<\/p>\n
