The crowds were quite<br \/>\nboisterous and loud; we could hear them from our backyard.<\/p>\n<p>I<br \/>\nalso ran into one of my former students, Helen Wong, who was paddling<br \/>\nfor the &#8220;Y.&#8221; (I hope I got that right).
