That argument for his election evaporated the<br \/>\nmoment the race ended, Democrats said, and Mr. Kerry has yet to adjust<br \/>\nto the new electoral terrain.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;<br \/>\nKerry Struggling to Find a Theme, Democrats Fear\n<\/p>\n<p>Kerry&#8217;s other argument for his election &#8212; electability &#8212; also<br \/>\nended with the end of the primaries. So&#8230; what&#8217;s his message? Why<br \/>\nshould we choose him over Bush?<br \/>\nDean had a message. Edwards had a message. Kerry opted instead won over<br \/>\nthe Democratic faithful with the idea of &#8220;anyone but Bush&#8221; &#8212; but the<br \/>\nDemocratic faitfhul seemed to not consider why anyone else should agree.\n<\/p>\n<p>Kerry&#8217;s &#8220;electability&#8221; was a sham all along &#8212; polls were showing<br \/>\nEdwards ahead of Kerry among independents and Republicans. Can the<br \/>\ncandidate and the party win over that part of America that doesn&#8217;t<br \/>\nspend every blogging moment castrating Bush?\n<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Together, we can build a stronger America.&#8221; Can you tell if that&#8217;s the theme for Bush or Kerry?
